YOLO Journal: Bric-a-Brac 112
The world is wide, but we always want to go back to Mexico. This week, we're heading to the creative utopia of Mérida via a friend who has a house there; we have a few favorite addresses in Sayulita from swimwear designer Dorothy Day and in Punta de Mita from chef Daniela Soto-Innes; and Eugenia González returns to a vacation spot of her youth, Mazatlán, to find a city having an unexpected rebound. (For more inspiration, check out our Mexico City Black Book, our Mexico Costa Meno Hotels list, Oaxaca List, and Puerto Escondido List.) And we also rounded up a few favorite strappy sandals that we're so ready to slip into after months of wearing socks!
Finally, we’ve posted new Guest Books from three very different places: the Rosewood Mandarina in Riviera Nayarit; Etéreo Auberge on the Riviera Maya; and the coolest-sounding hotel within a historic textile factory in Querétaro, one of Mexico’s up-and-coming wine regions.
